e.l.f Coral Matte Lipstick Pencil Review

I'm sure a lot of us out there are transitioning from winter to summer make up at the moment and one of the biggest changes I've noticed when people watching is that colour is creeping in, especially with lipsticks.

I've noticed that my taste in lipstick has gone from berry and red shades to corals and pinks. My first purchase being from e.l.f with a coral matte lip pencil that I couldn't resist when I saw it online!

It's super creamy, really pigmented and a lovely light coral that will only be the start of my coral obsession this summer I'm sure.

It's so girly and so pretty, I want to wear it everyday. It's not too in your face either so you can wear it during the day. I have fallen in love with e.l.f cosmetics recently and this is just one of the reasons why.

The matte lip colour pencils are great because they give great colour, precision and they're cheap.. at just £3.95!!!

e.l.f Lip Stain Review

When I first decided I was going to dye my hair blonde, one of the many images of inspiration that I always thought of was of a blonde model wearing a dark lip stain. It looked gothic but glamorous. I wasn't expecting such a finish with Crimson Crush. I thought it would be brighter and well, more orange in pigment. I love this lip stain though, it was a little hard to keep up the same amount of stain going onto the lip as it kept drying out, but once persevered with, comes out looking pretty great.

And at only £2.95 who can argue with that. e.l.f cosmetics also have this lip stain in 3 other colours, I have my eye on Nude Nectar next.

L'Oreal Color Riche Doutzen Lipstick Review

Before pay day even lands in my bank, I'm guilty of already spending my hard earned cash in my head. I'm constantly thinking about little trinkets I want for my room and ALWAYS obsessed with getting involved in some new beauty products.

So when the end of the month finally came around, I headed to Boots to not only top up on some of my staples that were running out, but to maybe take advantage of the 3 for 2 offers they have going on. Which lead to me finding a pretty gorgeous little lipstick in the L'Oreal section.

The Doezten's Nude lipstick is so different to how I thought it would be. Here's me thinking it would be a creamy, light pink shade. It actually goes on very sheer and has a lovely shimmer to it.

Truthfully, at first I hated this. I just thought it was really disappointing and I was glad I'd got it on a 3 for 2 offer. But, after I'd tried it a few times and took photos for the blog, it grew on me. It's subtle but really pretty, quite a nice change to the thick, creamy lipsticks I usually get.

I would definitely recommend this if you're looking to add something to your daytime beauty regime. If it's good enough for a Victoria's Secret angel, then I'm game!

NARS La Paz Review

I love NARS and I most certainly love a berry lipstick. So when I got my hands on this beauty, I was so excited to see the results.

This purple La Paz lipstick provides you with a Pure Matte finish and what intrigued me most about this lipstick was the added element of sparkle mixed into the formula. I put this on and it was so pigmented, which you'd expect from a more expensive brand.

What do you think?

Fresh Amour

As a beauty blogger, you do tend to build quite a collection of make up and that sometimes, items can get neglected. Today's post is about a product I had totally forgotten about until I went rummaging through my make up drawer the other day.

As you can see, it's not looking it's best, even if it is a MAC.

Fresh Amour showed up at just the right time really. It's Springtime and that usually means pretty pastels start to come out of the wood work, so this lilac mattene lipstick is perfect!

I know this shade looks a little crazy on me, but I really love it. This might be more wearable played down with a two tone look. Still gorgeous though.

Apocalips Big Bang

I know that this has been blogged to the moon and back, but I can totally see why now. This Apocalips in Big Bang is stunning, it's such a bright red and goes on with amazing pigment. I'm so impressed with this and I'll certainly be wearing this again and again.

I need to get my hands on more of these, check out how good they look.

It looks great with my blue hair too :)

My MAC Collection

I love this type of post, whenever I see another bloggers collection I just day dream of one day having a collection as big. I think I've done pretty well so far. I've been saving up and spending on MAC lipsticks for a few years now and have recently added to my collection quite a bit. MAC are one of the unbeatable lipstick brands out there, they might cost a little bit, but you definitely get what you pay for. Superb quality and hyper pigmented colour, as well as a range of shades to suit every skin tone and occasion you have coming up.

So here's my collection..

Wicked

If you haven't got a Velvetine in your life then you seriously need to get involved!

I wrote about Salem earlier in the week and now it's time for Wicked to take the spotlight.

A slightly more rouge pigment than Salem, Wicked goes on the same with a glossy start and matte finish.

How gorgeous is that red? I have a serious beauty crush on Lime Crime at the moment and these are making me want to buy even more. It goes on with such a high pigment and you can trust me when I say that these Velvetines don't budge.

What do you think? Have I convinced you to head over to Lime Crime yet?
