Clinique Moisturising Lotion & Glamour

I love a good freebie and Glamour have been right on the mark with their last 2 issues. Firstly with the Eyeko Liquid Liner and now this beautiful Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion

New to the Clinique skincare family, this Moisturising Lotion claims to help strengthen your skin's natural moisture barrier to leave you with a 'soft, springy' and 'healthy-looking glow'. It also promises for all day hydration, which it really does!

It's smooth, light and feels lovely on my skin. I've been wearing this under my make up for the past week and it's great. My skin looks better and brighter, it also feels genuinely moisturised too rather than just leaving a layer like some other moisturisers do.

I've also noticed that since using this moisturiser, I haven't had any dry skin on my problem areas (mainly my nose). Which is actually quite incredible, as no moisturiser has ever completed this mission before.

So all in all, I'm very impressed. I would definitely purchase this and you should definitely try out this sample with Glamour.

MAC Prep + Prime Samples

If you missed out on the latest MAC sample giveaway then you're going to hate this post.

For MAC's Facebook fans, they gave away mini samples of their Prep + Prime Skin Base Visage. All you had to do was enter your email and address to get your hands on one.

This little sample holds quite a lot in it to be honest. After a few uses I'm really loving how my skin feels after using it. It kind of leaves it with a powdery but not powdery feel, so a really soft finish. My make up looks pretty amazing after I've used it too, so it does what it says on the tin.

MAC are usually out of my budget (waahhhhh) but I think I would actually invest in this. You don't have to use a lot, which means it will last for ages and it gives you the results you want. So why not eh?

The Greatest Scrub Of All

When I first saw this Greatest Scrub Of All from Soap & Glory, I thought that it looked more like a cream than a scrub. Being used to using their sugar scrub, I was expecting a rough and painful experience, but this scrub is amazing. I sometimes get dry skin on my chin and nose, but this scrub gets all of that off without irritating as well as leaving my skin feeling moisturized after.

Really great purchase for those out there with dry skin that needs something gentle but effective to take care of it.

You can get this Soap & Glory scrub from Boots

Soap & Glory Facial Moisture Lotion

I love trying out new skin care and this latest addition to my collection hasn't disappointed. Having used it for little over a week now I've grown to love this Feel Good Factor Facial Moisture Lotion from Soap & Glory.

Firstly, it smells gorgeous (as does every that S&G do) and it feels light on my skin. I use this under my make up and once I've washed my face at night. I don't have to use a lot of this and it doesn't leave an oily sheen on my face like some moisturisers do.

I think this is a great addition to the Soap & Glory skin care range and would definitely purchase again.

You can get yours from Boots.

Soap & Glory Affair

Now I certainly do love my Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser, but when my friend Kat got me this from Soap & Glory I couldn't help but try it. Feeling like I was cheating on my skin, I approached this cautiously, hoping that I wouldn't break out after using it.

This Soap & Glory Hot Cloth Cleanser can match that of the Liz Earle one that's coveted by many beauty bloggers. It smells beautiful, goes on lightly and leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth.

Here is the amazing part.

So usually I'm quite lazy before I got to bed. Only using a make up wipe to take off my foundation, mascara and eyebrows... Little did I know what I was leaving on my skin until...

How shocking is that!! No wonder I break out and get clogged pores! If you want really clean skin with results you can see with your eyes. I highly recommend you try this Hot Cloth Cleanser.

You can get your hands on this from Boots.

Bedtime Skin Care

It's just as important to look after your skin overnight as it is during the day. Allowing your skin to absorb moisture and nourishment throughout the night means that once morning arrives you don't wake up with any unexpected dry skin or blemishes.

My favourite cream that I apply before bed is the Burt's Bees Night Treatment Cream. Using natural ingredients, this cream provides you with a lightweight feel that doesn't clog pores or leave your complexion feeling heavy when you sleep. I've been using this for a few months now and my skin looks smoother and brighter which I can't get enough of. I feel like I'm actually feeding my skin something healthy with this.

Balance Me Moisturiser

This month in Glamour you can get your hands on some wonderful skin care from Balance Me.

I got the Daily Essentials Moisture Rich Face Cream and what better time for it. When the sun is out my skin really suffers and needs some extra TLC and hydration from my skin care routine.

Blended with antioxidant rich Arctic Cloudberry, organic Shea Butter, Camellia and rosehip oils as well as Rose and Benzoin essential oils that provide this cream with a lovely floral scent.

I really loved using this. It left my skin feeling really smooth which is something I'm obsessed with at the moment.
