London Fashion Week Day #1

My first ever London Fashion Week was filled with ups and downs. With planning for it left up until the last day it was very much a whirlwind getting ourselves down there and to all of the shows.

With a line up of 10 shows to get to over the 4 days me and Hannah from Palindrome Poppet, were eager to get going. Traveling down on the Friday we made our way to our hotel (after getting lost) and headed over to Freemason's Hall for our first show with Bernard Shandoran. A slightly Bollywood themed show with rich reds, pinks and oranges running alongside mermaid inspired teals and blues all embellished with 3D bejewels as well as gold accessories and make up.

Between shows we stopped off at Cafe Rouge for some much needed food with a rather indulgent dessert.

The next show was Ping He, a neutral show of monochrome pieces but finished with gorgeous peplum and lace detailing that made for a really wearable collection. The hair was big and the make up even bolder, which really contrasted the pieces that Ping He had created.
