Friday Favourites #37
I haven't done a Friday Favourites for 2 months now! I've missed it!
I've been struggling to find a decent platform to create them on when I'm on my MAC, so if any of you have any tips then send them over. I'm currently using SketchBookExpress.
So I've been looking a lot on TopShop recently and I think it's because the styles they have currently are very much up my street. They have a lot of the stuff I wouldn't ever pull off but I've spotted quite a few items I'd like to add to my wardrobe including this gorgeous Paisley Print Robe, which I think is actually meant to be for bed time, but I love it. I can see this being both dressed up like the look I've put together or dressed down with a white cami and jeans. It's such a staple piece and I want it in my life so bad!
Maybe once my MOT is over and done with next month, I'll treat myself :)
1. TOPSHOP Paisley Print Robe
2. TOPSHOP Lace Panel Bodycon Dress
3. Oasis Heart Mixed Chain Gold Bracelet
4. ASOS Hamilton Heeled Sandals
5. Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner
6. TOPSHOP Nails in Myth

e.l.f Kabuki Brush Review
I think every girl should have a kabuki brush in her make up bag.
Every since I got my first one from Topshop, I use it for so much. From simple powdering to applying bronzer, it picks up just the right amount onto the bristles and applies it all onto your face evenly. And because of it's size and shape, it's also great for buffing out any cakey looking make up on your face.
I love my Kabuki brushes and my latest one (now that the Topshop one is getting a bit old) is from e.l.f cosmetics.
Friday Favourites #33
As most of you will have seen, I do a feature on Monday's to motivate not only myself but all of you too, to get fit and healthy. I've been on this quest for a while now and with the help of MyFitnessPal, I'm really starting to enjoy my food again as well as thinking about what I'm eating.
And it's all really so that I can wear whatever I want and feel comfortable. This dress is a prime example of the style of clothing I would love to wear once I'm more confident with my body. I love the whole side boob thing going on with this and I just think it's stunning. One day Beka, one day.
1. Missguided Marenna Backless Skater Dress in Red
2. River Island Black Geometric Print Peep Toe Wedges
3. Topshop Rainbow Straw Clutch
4. ASOS Katy Perry Eylure Punk Princess Lashes
5. Lord & Berry Matte Lipstick Crayon in Bouquet

What's In My Make-Up Bag
I did one of these types of posts when I first started blogging last year and my make up bag has changed a lot since then. So I thought I'd walk you through the products that get me out the door and ready for the day.
Base
Nivea Rich Moisturising Day Cream, Rimmel Stay Matte Primer
I love to keep my skin moisturized especially with putting make up on daily, but it's quite hard to find one that doesn't sit heavy on the skin and leave it oily. I picked this Nivea one up from Boots the other day and I really liked it. I've always liked Nivea and this addition to my daily routine is great as it's light and non-greasy.
I'm obsessed with Primers, I have tried loads but I find the ones with silicone in to make my make up look blotchy within a few hours. This is why I like the Stay Matte Primer from Rimmel so much. It's smooth and doesn't feel like a layer too many before my make up application.
Face
Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, L'Oreal CC Cream Anti-Fatigue, Rimmel Stay Matte Transparent Powder, TOPSHOP Kabuki Brush, Benefit Boi-ing Concealer, Miss Sporty So Clear Concealer
Too many products to probably talk about in this part so I'll just highlight a few of my favourites.
I've tried the Anti-Dullness and Anti-Redness CC Creams from L'Oreal so I thought I'd switch it up and try the entire collection by picking up the Anti-Fatigue version from Boots. It gives me the right coverage without feeling too heavy and brightens my every growing bags under my eyes.
I've moved away from full on face powders but I've always stuck my Rimmel when I want to banish the shine. So this Transparent powder is great as it's not too heavy for my skin and also rids my skin of shine.
Colour
Bellapierre Mineral Bronzer, Barry M Blusher, Primark Face Brush, (I have no idea what the other bronzer is, I just know it's fab)
Oo, I love this BellaPierre Mineral Bronzer! It's something I like to get out when I'm going for a night out or cocktails with the girls. It adds a little highlight onto my cheeks with it's subtle golden shine. This Barry M blusher is lovely too, the pigment is really strong so I only have to use a little bit to get the colour I want.
Eyes
Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette, MUA E1, E2 & E3 Make Up Brushes
I've been using my Basics palette on a daily basis recently. I use the shimmer in the inner corner of my eyes, apply a base and contour for a subtle smokey eye.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara, Helen E Brown Eyeliner, Barry M Liquid Liner
Brows
Maybelline Brow Drama Mascara, Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil
It's all about the brows and recently I've been trying to make my eyebrows as naturally bushy as possible. I use these two combined to firstly add shape with the Rimmel Pencil, followed by the brow mascara to almost make my eyebrows a little bit more 3D.
So that's it, everything I use to get myself ready. If you have any make up bag posts, leave them below. I'm looking for some good make up to add to this collection.

Friday Favourites #30
Ooo this weeks Friday Favourites has really got me excited for warmer weather!
I spotted this dress on Topshop when I was doing my weekly check of the New In section and knew it was my new main feature on here. They had a gorgeous pink off-the-shoulder version of this, but it was so beautiful that it's already sold out. Boo.
Oh well, this green version is just as beautiful and I love the idea of this with bright pink lips. Inviting in the colour! This would be a great outfit for maybe a day at the races or a wedding.

2. River Island Black Ankle Strap Pointed Court Shoes
3. Missguided Fida Patent Box Clutch Bag

What I Love Book
One of my favourite things to do during the week is to check out the New In This Week section from Topshop. I don't know if anybody else does this, but it's one of my favourite past times.
This week I was browsing through their new Unique range and came across this cute little book, perfect for Valentine's Day.
You get to fill in the blanks of why you adore the person you're with, making this a Valentine's gift that's personal and sentimental. What a lovely way to remind you both why you love eachother without having to spend too much money.
You can get the What I Love Book here at Topshop
Friday Favourites #25
After moving out, getting myself on the road and starting a new job, it is so nice to get back in the swing of things with Beka's Beauty. Friday Favourites is probably one of my favourite features, mainly because it's so simple to do and it allows me to put my beauty and fashion dreams out there without having to getting my purse out.
This week's Friday Favourites features a print that I think will be EVERYWHERE in the next few months. I remember daisy prints like this being around when I was growing up in the 90's and I'm kind of loving the comeback. I love the idea of this dress being worn for a girly lunch or casual date, and those shoes! Swoon! I am really looking forward to summer and getting my legs out with a pair of tan boots or heels.
1. ASOS Swing Dress in Daisy Print
2. Dune Darreline Small Cross Body Bag
3. ASOS Multipack Hinge Bangle Bracelet
4. Missguided Chitra Faux Leather Strappy Platform Heels In Tan
5. TOPSHOP Lip Bullet in Crave
6. ASOS Gold Plated Shield Locket Necklace
I haven't really had any adventures of late, as you can see from my blog. So where have you been or want to go that's maybe worth a visit? Let me know :)

Friday Favourites #23
I'm in party dress mode!
Which means that no matter what online shop I'm on, you'll find me looking through all of the glitter, sequin and embellished dresses that are so perfect for Christmas.
This monochrome Jones & Jones beauty caught my eye immediately on ASOS and I love it! It's girly whilst remaining elegant, the dark floral details reminds me of a reverse Louis Vuitton design they adorned earlier this year, only this time, instead of lying on a bed of ice cream shades, you can find it on a grown up set of grey-scale shades.
1. Jones & Jones Autumn Organza Dress
2. Missguided Abbi Contrast Platform Heels
3. Warehouse Square Drop Earrings
4. Illamasqua Lipstick in Sonnet
5. TOPSHOP Embellished Clutch Bag
6. Bourjois Faux & Fabulous Lashes in Smokey Eyes

Friday Favourites #21
This week's Friday Favourites got sparked off when I came across this gorgeous bag from Mozzypop, a cute little online accessories store. A rich, chocolate brown satchel is what I need in my life right now to transition from Autumn to Winter. I'm also really finding it hard to let go of florals as the days gets darker. These more gothic floral prints that are out at the moment are definitely a favourite of mine and as soon as the end of the month comes by, I'll be all over ASOS to treat myself.

I'm not even sure this dress will even be in stock now because it's so popular, but ever since I laid eyes on these Neon Crepe Tee Shift Dress from Topshop I was in love.
It's just so simple, but it can be dress up too. So I put together a rather Topshop themed Friday Favourites this week.
(pssst, if this dress is sold out, they have a gorgeous neon collection on Missguided too)
1. Crepe Tee Shift Dress in Fluro Yellow
2. Chunky Curb ID Bracelet

This week I didn't really know where to begin.

Friday Favourites #8
This week you'll know that I went to see the gorgeous Rihanna for her Diamonds World Tour in Manchester.
When I was there I was loving watching the variety of fashion and styles going on, with everyone having their own take on the trends of now. This is probably one of my favourite things to do EVER! Rihanna has a lot of well dressed fans I can tell you that.
Whilst I was crowd spotting, I spotted a girl wearing a gorgeous leopard print top that I knew was from Topshop. I found this gorgeous dress in the same print and have fallen head over heels for it. So I've based this weeks Friday Favourites around this bold print, I hope you love it as much as I do.
1. Animal Print Ladder Back Dress - Topshop
2. Boxy Zip Clutch - Accessorize
3. Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy in Orbit - Boots
4. New Look Scour Platform Sandals - ASOS
5. Whistles Clover Key Ring - ASOS
6. Double Row Chain Bracelet - ASOS
I would wear this outfit for a cocktail night with my girlies

Elliot's 21st Birthday Weekend
Sooo Elliot turned 21 this week!
How exciting! Time to catch my train :)
After being slobs for the entire day, it was time to get ready to go out. Using my trusty Urban Decay Ammo palette with Katy Perry lashes and some super easy curls with my straighteners I was ready to go. Throwback dress on from my 20th birthday (which I still love) with my new Studded Lita boots from Boohoo and maroon suede clutch from Topshop that goes with everything.
Elliot chooses some pretty amazing restaurants and this was no exception. Portofino's hosts an Italian cuisine which means that, for the 14 of us dining, there was a lot of choice.
Ben's pizza made me slightly jealous, what is it about pizza and me...
Photo time :)
How exciting! Time to catch my train :)
Couldn't wait to greet Elliot at the station! With presents in hand after a 3 hour journey I arrived and gave Elliot THE biggest birthday hug.
Once we'd eaten and said hello to his house mates, we headed to his room for some present opening. I think everyone will agree with me here that after weeks of planning gift buying the moment they open their presents is a heavily scrutinized activity. Unfortunately for Elliot that meant his every move and facial expression was being watched by my beady eyes. Apologies for that.
I also planned ahead and had some Pug Puppy Cupcakes from Carousel Cupcakes ordered to his door.
How amazing do they look!!! (and they tasted pretty awesome too)
Elliot chooses some pretty amazing restaurants and this was no exception. Portofino's hosts an Italian cuisine which means that, for the 14 of us dining, there was a lot of choice.
With wine to share and good company around there wasn't a dull moment. I even felt my cheeks beginning to hurt from smiling and laughing so much.
For those of you who have read my blog before will know that I am an expert with crispy potato skins. I saw them on the menu and saw nothing else after that.
Elliot opted for Pate with a fruit coulee to start and Luke had the most garlic filled mushrooms I have ever seen.
For mains there was a real smorgasbord of variety going on around the table.
Ben's pizza made me slightly jealous, what is it about pizza and me...
Rhona (the cutie) arranged for a cake to be brought to the table for Elliot. Whilst Luke made sure everyone got into the swing of things with bottles of Prosecco around the table.
Have you ever had that feeling that someone is taking a photo of you whilst you're pulling your best moves to The Motto by Drake?
At this point I think it's pretty easy to say that we were all feeling rather jolly and so proceeds the embarrassing dancing and shameless swigging back of the trebles.
All in all it was an amazing weekend. I hope Elliot enjoyed it as much as I did because he deserves it.
Happy Birthday Gorgeous
